About Me.
I am a cultural anthropologist, mission-driven entrepreneur, and creator of The Community Cooperative; a community-building consultancy for mission-driven creators looking for support in planning their projects. My mission is to catalyze creatives towards purposeful work, create space for creatives to substantiate their vision, and support the vibrancy in humanity. I am currently focusing on organizing their project plans so they can share their gifts with the world.
So What?
Your contribution to this world matters. Even if the creative, smart proactive people are usually the Antiheros that just want to live a good life, we just cant seem to stay away from community building. Reluctant leaders know that if we can’t find what we need, we simply make it ourselves. We need community too.
How does this work?
I started The Community Cooperative to create opportunities for creative smart people (like you) who are looking for a community to find and support. I tried many different variations but a community-funded model feels the most honest to me. It's $30/ month (starting Feb. 1st, 2025!) for membership and Coop holds these types of events (talks, swaps, get-togethers, meetups, performances, etc) and others monthly. The events are creative, and community-oriented, and provide opportunities for genuine connections. We have an event every month but plan to grow throughout the year as member interests shape Coop events.
Our Community
The Coop welcomes anyone who shares the values of inclusion, authenticity, creativity, and connection. As we build this together members will also have a say in Coop community funds (We’ll talk about this at the end of 2025 so subscribe!).
We support each other’s interests, build community, serve the community, volunteer, and create long-lasting genuine connections.
Our Values
Community | Connection | Sustainability | Equity | Creativity | Collaboration
Financial Transparency
The Community Cooperative is considered a “for-profit” L.L.C. We utilize funds generated by events, subscriptions, or programs to facilitate community growth, provide resources to Coop members, support Coop contractors, and prioritize community interests. Profits come after all of those priorities.
